WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read through all of our Terms & Conditions stated below;
All products come with a lifetime warranty for its D.C. motor. A 36 months warranty for its LED, remote control and free transport and labour during the stated period. Thereafter, on-site charges apply. SL ASIA MARKETING PTE LTD warrants that if within the stated period of warranty from date of delivery this appliance is proved to be defective by reason only of faulty workmanship or materials and not for any other reason whatsoever, the company will arrange for repair, or at our discretion, replacement of the defective parts or materials on condition set forth below:
1. This warranty card should be carefully kept with the serial number not defaced, altered or modified in any way. Warranty is effective from the date of delivery.
2. The warranty card must be presented together with the original purchase receipt at the time of service. Failing to do so will result in the company reserving the right to decline any warranty claims.
3. A copy of the original purchase receipt and a valid warranty card is still required for the repairs of appliances after the warranty period. A standard rate will be chargeable for all services and parts provided. This rate will be determined by SL ASIA MARKETING PTE LTD.
4. This warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser, installed at its original location, and shall not be transferable, negotiable, assignable to any third party or replaceable even in the event of loss.
5. This warranty is limited to brand new product sold by SL ASIA MARKETING PTE LTD, through its authorised dealers, and is for domestic usage within Singapore main island only. In the event of commercial or communal usage, warranty for the LED, remote control, D.C. motor and transport and labour fees exemption will be limited to 12 months only.
6. Scratches, dents, cracks, noises, incorrect balancing of fan, control switch, wear and tear, corrosion, rusting, stains, decolourisation, power points and power plugs faults are not covered under warranty. (Note: Fan balancing should be covered by the installer of the product. SL ASIA MARKETING PTE LTD is not liable for any issue that arises from the incorrect balancing of the product.)
7. In no event shall SL ASIA MARKETING PTE LTD be liable for consequential or incidental damages.
8. Additional charges shall be imposed for servicing jobs with appliance installed above 10 feet/3.05m (measured from the ground). This applies for other cases, including but not limited to, when there may be additional obstruction which may limit access to relevant parts/product (e.g. ceiling board/false ceiling/centre panel).
9. SL ASIA MARKETING PTE LTD reserves the right of any final decision on all warranty claims. The warranty will be considered void in the following event, whereby on-site service, labour and parts will be chargeable:
a. Installation is not carried out as recommended or product has been subjected to alteration and used not in accordance with its requirements stated in the instruction manual.
b. Defects caused by the use of third-party products or parts, contact with corrosive chemical, accidents, abuse, attacks
of household pests, lighting, natural disasters, abnormal voltage or usage of generator.
c. The fault is not due to the appliance's manufacturing defects.
d. The appliance is installed or tampered with and/or repaired by unqualified or unauthorized personnel.
e. The serial number or label affixed to the appliance or part is defaced, altered or removed.
Important Note:
Users are strongly advised to contact SL ASIA MARKETING PTE LTD to conduct regular examination of the fan’s suspension system. It is recommended that the user does this at least once in every two years. An additional fee of SGD 30 (per unit) will be incurred if above-stated examination is requested upon during the warranty period of 36 months. Original mounting bracket provided must be used for the installation of the product. Usage of third-party mounting brackets may result in unsafe installation. In the event that a third-party bracket is used, SL ASIA MARKETING PTE LTD will not be responsible in and this warranty shall be considered void. Warranty of all D.C. ceiling fan will be void if it is found to be connected to a dimmer switch or a regulator.
